Set a Java world border

This guide shows you how to choose the center and diameter of the Minecraft Java Edition world border from the NolimitHost console.

The world border is an invisible boundary that limits how far players can travel. Use the worldborder command to choose the center and diameter of the playable Java world.

Set the border

Choose the center — Decide which X and Z coordinates should sit at the center. World spawn is a practical choice for many servers.
Open the console — Start the server, then log in to the NolimitHost Game Panel at https://panel.nolimithost.cc/ and select your Minecraft Java server. Open the Console in the left sidebar.
Set the center — Replace the example coordinates with your chosen values.

```
Set the diameter — Replace 10000 with the complete border diameter in blocks.

worldborder set 10000
```
Verify in-game — Join and confirm that the border surrounds the intended area before inviting players.

Warning: Shrinking a border can leave builds or players outside the playable area. Create a backup and check important coordinates first.
