How to Grant OP Permissions on a Minecraft Server

Server operators (OP) have administrative permissions and can use commands to manage the server and game modes. In this guide, you will learn how to grant and revoke OP permissions from players on your NolimitHost Minecraft server.

Granting OP Permissions

Log in to the Game Panel at https://panel.nolimithost.cc/ and select your Minecraft server. Then open the Console tab — the live window where server messages appear and where you can type commands that take effect immediately.
Enter the following command to grant OP permissions to a player:
```
op [PlayerName]
```
The player will receive a notification that they are now an operator.

Removing OP Permissions

Go to the Console tab in the Game Panel (make sure you have selected your Minecraft server first).
Run the following command to remove OP permissions from a player:
```
deop [PlayerName]
```
The player will lose all operator privileges.

Note: Replace [PlayerName] with the actual player's username. Player names are case-sensitive.

Warning: Operators can run every command on the server, including commands that can break or reset the world. Only grant OP to players you trust. These commands take effect immediately, so no restart is needed.
