Reset a Bedrock world

Generate a fresh Minecraft Bedrock Edition world on NolimitHost without resetting the complete server installation.

Reset only the active world when you want fresh terrain but want to keep the server installation and its other configuration. The level-name setting in server.properties — the main configuration file for the server — decides which world folder the server loads. The safest method is to give the new world a different level-name.

Create a fresh world with a new name

1. Back up and stop the server — Create a backup, download the current world if you need an external copy, then stop the server. Stopping first prevents the server from overwriting your edit while you work.
2. Open server.properties — Log in to the NolimitHost Game Panel at https://panel.nolimithost.cc/ and select your Minecraft Bedrock server. In the left sidebar, click File Manager, then select server.properties.
3. Set a new level name — Change level-name to a folder name that does not already exist in worlds (the folder name is how the server identifies the world).

4. Save and start — Save the file and start the server. Bedrock creates a new world using the new folder name.
5. Verify the result — Join the server and confirm that fresh terrain loaded. Keep the old world folder until you know the new world works.

Delete and regenerate the selected world

Use this method only when you no longer need the current world folder.

1. Confirm the active world — Open server.properties in the File Manager (log in to the NolimitHost Game Panel at https://panel.nolimithost.cc/, select your Minecraft Bedrock server, and click File Manager in the left sidebar) and note the exact level-name value.
2. Stop and download — Stop the server first (so the server does not regenerate or lock the folder while you delete it) and download the matching folder from worlds if you may need it later.
3. Delete the world folder — Open worlds, select the folder matching level-name, and delete it. Do not delete a different world.
4. Start the server — Start the server. Bedrock generates a new world under the configured level-name.
