BeamMP releases new server builds regularly to add features and fix bugs. This guide shows you how to update your server to the latest release while keeping your settings, mods, and AuthKey intact.
By default, your BeamMP server checks for a newer release each time it starts and updates itself automatically. In most cases you only need to restart the server to pick up the latest build.
If the server is stuck on an older version, force a fresh install of the current release.
ServerConfig.toml and your Resources folder so your settings and mods are safe.Resources folder are still present afterwards. If they were removed, restore them from your backup before starting the server.
If you run BeamMP yourself on a VPS, download the newest release from the BeamMP-Server releases page, stop the server, replace the old server binary, and start it again. Keeping the existing ServerConfig.toml and Resources folder preserves your setup.
