How to Change the Admin Password on Your Palworld Server

This guide shows you how to change the admin password on your Palworld server. The admin password is essential if you want to run admin commands in-game, such as kicking players or saving the world.

Change via NolimitHost Panel

  1. Log into the NolimitHost Game Panel and select your Palworld server.
  2. Stop your server first, so it doesn't overwrite your changes while you work.
  3. Open the Palworld Settings tab in the left navbar.
  4. Locate the Admin Password field and set your new password.
  5. Save and restart your server to apply the change.

Change via Config File

PalWorldSettings.ini is the main configuration file for your server.

  1. Stop your server first, so it doesn't overwrite your changes while you work.
  2. In the left sidebar of your NolimitHost Game Panel, open File Manager and navigate to Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini.
  3. Find AdminPassword= inside the OptionSettings=(...) line and update it: 
    AdminPassword="YourNewPassword"
  4. Save the file and restart your server to apply the change.
Tip: Use different passwords for AdminPassword and ServerPassword. This lets you give the server password to players while keeping admin access restricted.

Using the Admin Password

Once set, authenticate as admin in-game by opening chat (press Enter) and typing:

/adminpassword YourNewPassword

After successful authentication, you can run any admin command.
