Vintage Story Server Quick Start Guide

This guide covers the first steps for setting up, controlling, and maintaining your new Vintage Story multiplayer server - including what to do right after your server is created.

Default Server Whitelist

1.20+ Server Notification: As of version 1.20, servers' default configurations have changed servers no longer register themselves to the public server list and are invite-only (whitelisted) out of the box. If you'd like to make your server public, you can enable server advertising with /serverconfig advertise on.

You'll need to either add your players to the whitelist or remove it entirely. Run the commands below in the server console (log in to the NolimitHost Game Panel at https://panel.nolimithost.cc/, select your server, and go to the Console tab):

/whitelist off

or Add players to the whitelist with:

/whitelist add <username>
