How to Connect to Your Vintage Story Server

This guide shows you how to connect to a Vintage Story server from the game. You'll need either the server IP from the server owner, or you can find it in the Game Panel if you're the server owner.

Getting the IP

Log in to your NolimitHost Game Panel at https://panel.nolimithost.cc/ and select your Vintage Story server. Your server's IP address and port are displayed at the top of the server overview page.

Connecting to the Server

  1. Open Vintage Story.
  2. Select the Multiplayer button on the main menu.
  3. Click Add server.
  4. Optionally enter a name for the server in your server list.
  5. Enter the Server IP (including port, e.g. 1.1.1.1:1111). The number after the colon is the port - you must include it.
  6. Enter the Server Password if one is set.
  7. Click Create.
  8. Select your server from the multiplayer list to connect.

You can also add your server to the Steam Server Browser to keep it saved in your favourites.

Tip: Make sure your server is running before you try to connect - a stopped server cannot accept connections.
