How to Connect to Your Team Fortress 2 Server

Last updated: September 18, 2026

This guide shows you the three ways to join your Team Fortress 2 server: the in-game browser, the console, and Steam favorites.

Find Your Address

Log in to the NolimitHost Game Panel and select your TF2 server. Your server IP and port are shown on the Dashboard. The default TF2 port is 27015.

Method 1: In-Game Server Browser

  1. Launch Team Fortress 2.
  2. Click Play Multiplayer, then open the Browse Servers tab.
  3. Search for your server name in the filters and select it to join.

Your server only appears here if it is public and has a valid GSLT.

Method 2: The Console

  1. In the game, open the developer console (enable it under Options > Advanced if needed, then press the console key, usually ~).
  2. Type the connect command with your address:
    connect 123.45.67.89:27015

This works even if your server is not showing in the browser.

Method 3: Steam Favorites

  1. In Steam, open View > Game Servers.
  2. Switch to the Favorites tab and click Add a Server.
  3. Enter your IP:Port, add it, then select it and click Connect.
Tip: Saving your server to favorites keeps a permanent shortcut that survives game and Steam updates.
