How to Install Oxide on Your Rust Server

This guide shows you how to install Oxide on your Rust server. Oxide (also known as uMod) is the plugin framework for Rust servers — it's what lets you add plugins that extend your server with extra features, such as teleport commands, starter kits, or admin tools.

Step 1: Open Game Panel

  1. Log in to the NolimitHost Game Panel at https://panel.nolimithost.cc/
  2. Click on your Rust server to open it

Step 2: Go to Server Options

  1. In the left sidebar, click "Server Options" — this is where your server's main settings are stored

Step 3: Find Modding Framework

  1. Scroll down to find "Modding Framework" — this setting tells the server which plugin system to load, if any
  2. Click the dropdown (usually set to "None")
  3. Select "Oxide"

Step 4: Save

  1. Click "Save" or "Update"
  2. Server will restart with Oxide installed
Note: The panel will restart your server automatically to load Oxide. This is normal and can take a couple of minutes — you'll see Oxide loading messages in the console.
