How to Import Custom Map (Rust Game Panel)

This guide shows you how to import a custom map to your Rust server using a map URL. Instead of the randomly generated default world, you'll be able to load a map of your choice that you pick from a map-making website.

Step 1: Open Game Panel

  1. Log in to the NolimitHost Game Panel at https://panel.nolimithost.cc/
  2. Click on your Rust server to open it

Step 2: Go to Server Options

  1. In the left sidebar, click "Server Options" — this is where your server's main settings (including the map) are stored

Step 3: Get a Custom Map

  1. Open https://rustmaps.com/ or similar websites in a new tab
  2. Browse and select a map you like
  3. Copy the map download URL from the site

Step 4: Add Map URL

  1. Return to Server Options
  2. Find "Custom Map URL"
  3. Paste the map URL into the field
  4. Click "Save"
Important: Stop your server first before saving, so the running server doesn't overwrite your changes. After saving, start your server again from the Game Panel so the new map is loaded.

Your custom map will load on the next server restart or wipe — the map is downloaded when the server starts up.
