How do I add a subuser?

Subusers allow you to give other people access to manage your server without sharing your main account credentials. You can set specific permissions for each subuser to control what they can do.

Creating a Subuser

Step 1: Log in to Game Panel

Visit your Game Panel and log in with your credentials.

Step 2: Select Your Server

Click on the server you want to add a subuser to.

Step 3: Navigate to Subusers

In the left sidebar, click on "Subusers".

Step 4: Create New Subuser

Click the "Create" button in the Subuser section.

Step 5: Enter Subuser Email

Enter the email address of the person you want to give access to. This email will be used for their Game Panel login.

Step 6: Set Permissions

Configure the permissions for this subuser by checking the boxes for actions you want them to be able to perform

Step 7: Create Subuser

Click "Create Subuser". The user will receive an email with instructions to access the Game Panel using the provided email address.

Editing Permissions

  1. Go to the "Subusers" section of your server
  2. Click the subuser you want to edit
  3. Update their permissions as needed
  4. Click "Save"

Removing a Subuser

  1. Go to the "Subusers" section of your server
  2. Click the trash/delete icon next to the subuser
  3. Confirm the removal

Best Practices

  • Grant minimal permissions: Only give subusers the permissions they need for their role
  • Use for specific roles: Create separate subusers for moderators, admins, developers, etc.
  • Review regularly: Periodically check your subuser list and remove inactive users
  • Monitor activity: Keep track of what subusers are doing on your server
  • Revoke access immediately: If someone leaves your team, remove their subuser access right away
