How to Connect to Your SCUM Server

Last updated: September 18, 2026

This guide shows you how to find and join your SCUM server through the in-game server browser.

Step 1: Find Your Server Address

Log in to the NolimitHost Game Panel and select your SCUM server. Your server IP and game port are shown on the Dashboard.

Step 2: Join the Server

  1. Launch SCUM.
  2. Open the Multiplayer menu and go to the Server Browser tab.
  3. Search for your server by the name set in scum.ServerName.
  4. Select your server and click Connect. If you set a password, enter it when prompted.

Using Direct Connect

If your server does not appear in the browser, you can add it directly by address:

  1. In the Server Browser, use the direct connect / add-server option.
  2. Enter your address as IP:Port, for example 123.45.67.89:7042.

Ports

SCUM uses a small block of consecutive UDP ports. Your panel assigns these, so always use the values shown on your Dashboard:

Port Protocol Purpose
Game portUDPWhere players connect. Common values are 7777 (self-hosted) or 7042 (managed).
Game port + 1UDPRaw UDP socket used by the game.
Game port + 2UDPSteam query port used by the server browser.

The server browser relies on the query port, which is always your game port plus two.
