This guide shows you how to find and join your SCUM server through the in-game server browser.
Log in to the NolimitHost Game Panel and select your SCUM server. Your server IP and game port are shown on the Dashboard.
If your server does not appear in the browser, you can add it directly by address:
IP:Port, for example 123.45.67.89:7042.SCUM uses a small block of consecutive UDP ports. Your panel assigns these, so always use the values shown on your Dashboard:
| Port | Protocol | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Game port | UDP | Where players connect. Common values are 7777 (self-hosted) or 7042 (managed). |
| Game port + 1 | UDP | Raw UDP socket used by the game. |
| Game port + 2 | UDP | Steam query port used by the server browser. |
The server browser relies on the query port, which is always your game port plus two.
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Server not in the browser | Confirm the server is running and give the query port a minute to register. Use direct connect with your IP and game port. |
| Connection timed out | Double-check the game port on your Dashboard, and that the server is online in the panel console. |
| Server is full | The player cap was reached. See Configure Your Server. |
| Wrong password | The server uses a join password. See Set a Password. |
