Minecraft Server Lookup

The default Minecraft Java Edition port is 25565. If your server runs on a custom port, enter it as host:port (for example mc.example.com:25566) and the lookup will query that port.

The MOTD (Message of the Day) is the text a server shows in the multiplayer server list, and it can contain multiple lines. This lookup displays the server's MOTD together with its status so you can recognize the server at a glance.

A server shows as offline when it isn't running, the IP or port is wrong, a firewall blocks the status query, or the server does not respond to server-list pings. Double-check the address and make sure the server is started before re-running the lookup.

mcsrvstat.us only returns a sample player list when the server responds to a status query and exposes its player names. Many servers hide the full player list, so the player count is shown but individual names may be unavailable.

This tool currently checks Java Edition servers through the mcsrvstat.us v2 API (default port 25565). Bedrock servers use a different protocol and are not supported by this lookup yet.
